Second Annual Fundraising Honors Banquet

The 100 Black Men of Syracuse held its Second Annual Fundraising Dinner on Friday, December 4 at the Holiday Inn Convention Center Liverpool. Special Guests included Hon. Langston C. McKinney, Syracuse City Court Judge, Lynda Ervin, Onondaga County Legislator, Syracuse Police Deputy Chief Frank Fowler, and Dr. Fred P. Pestello, President of LeMoyne College.  The organization honored Syracuse University, Lemoyne College, and Onondaga Community College, with the theme of "Unlocking the Future Through Education." Over 400 guests enjoyed an evening of dining and entertainment, with door prizes offered. Proceeds from this event will be used to establish the 100 Black Men of Syracuse Scholarship Fund. This fund, is administered through the CNY Community Foundation, and will allow the 100 Black Men to provide financial resources and assistance to youth in their programs.
